  • Click Scan
or

Go here and run an on-line scan with the F-Secure scanner .

  • Use IE (Internet Explorer), accept the license terms, and allow the Active-X controls to load.
  • Click Full System Scan and allow the components to download and the scan to complete.
  • If malware is found during the scan, check Submit samples to F-Secure and Automatic cleaning.
ESET Online Scanner is slow, it's been running for 9 hours and 58 minutes now.

How many files are we talking about here? 9 hours is insane.

I think it was about 210,000 files or something. But I don't remember the exact number as I already restarted my system.

I used Hitman and it found 7 files, some suspicious, 1 trojan, and the other malware. But it didn't help much after deleting the 7 files.

Anpippin, installing an anti virus in your infected computer is a moot action IMHO, many virus/malware able to make it self "excluded" in the scan process, or even crash the scanner... To get your computer cleaned, you need to scan the disk in "offline" mode, meaning, you can't use your OS to scan it self, you need another clean uninfected system to do the job. This can be achieved by 2 means, one is to plug your disk to another clean system, or two - use a Anti Virus Live CD. AVG have one, or you can create a Linux Live CD and install ClamAV. Either way, you can't get a persistent result if you scan in a compromised condition...

IMHO, this is the easiest and fastest way to solve your problem with least of headache...

If you start to spend two to three days on a problem like this it's sometimes faster to just reinstall Win 7. A repair install won't help you here because you could still be infected.
If you can afford it, buy another hard drive that's the same size or larger as your Win 7 hard drive. Install Win 7 on the new hard drive and copy all your data over from the old drive to the new drive. Buy a copy of malwarebytes and enable protection. Reinstall all your apps.

Regretably the virus has attacked and corrupted your boot drive.
Since you no longer have a hope of restoring your system your only option is try to do a safe boot, try to run an onboard virus scan which seemed to be ineffectual at the best of times. Short of that I encourage you to perform a complete format and install the operating system. The symptoms you are describing sound like a zombie virus had taken over. If you are connected to the net un-plug ASAP and hope you had no personal data onboard. Call and cancel any CC's if you have done any business online.
