This is a Windows 7 forum, not a Windows 10 forum. Probably the folks at Windows 10 Forums (
https://www.tenforums.com/) could help you better than we can. But I'll help you if I can.
In order to help you, we need specific information. Such as, what is the model number? You said that you
think it is a 100 series. The model number should be either stamped somewhere, or on a sticker. Probably on the bottom of the machine. And you need to be more specific than "100 series", which could be any one of seven different computers.
As far as wiping the drive, is that really what you want to do? If you do that, the computer will be nothing more than a paperweight, unless you reinstall the operating system. There should be a factory restore option, which will wipe the drive and reinstall the OS with all necessary drivers. That is your best option.
If you have the 110S or the 120S, then you have a tiny internal drive (either 32 GB or 64 GB of total space), barely big enough to run Windows 10, but likely too small to do any updates, which is a fundamental part of Windows 10. If you have one of these models, then you need to store everything (documents, pictures, etc.) on an external drive (e.g. a USB flash drive or an online drive), because there is literally no available space on the internal drive.
