IE 11 loading slowing or not at all

Hey,

I have this issue that started a few days ago where web pages would suddenly start taking forever to open, or just failing to open at all. This is something that isn't always happening, but instead seems to happen sporadically throughout my time on it.

I am either confronted with:
A long load time for the page
"This page can't be displayed"
"Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2"

The long load times and failure to display the page are particular with most web pages, but, the TLS seems to only occasionally come up along with the other ones when I am trying to get to YouTube, which fails more often than not. Additionally, there are just times when images or flash videos fail to load properly, and I'm presented with either a white box, or the video player not showing up at all.

The TLS things are enabled, I have the latest version of Java, the browser is up to date, and I have already tried to reset Internet Explorer Settings, but it did not resolve this issue.

I can provide any information that is needed to help with need, and I greatly appreciate any assistance I could get on this matter.

Hi Basilius and welcome to Sevenforums!

Some things you can try:

• Run Internet Explorer without add-ons, using the command: iexplore.exe -extoff
• Boot to Safe Mode and test Internet Explorer
• If it works in Safe Mode, you could try a Clean Startup when booting in normal mode again
• Temporarily disable security programs

I don't get how Java is related to this. And I think Youtube defaults to HTML5 videos and not Flash anymore.
