I'm not able to install Windows on my Netbook

Hi, I have a Asus Eee PC 1215N.

I wanted a "clean" PC so I decided to format and reinstall Windows.

1)I have boot the "bootable Partition Manager" from a usb DVD device;

2)I have delete the 4 default partitions, then I have create 2 partition with NTFS file system;

3)I have download a Windows 7 Home Premium x64 ISO, then I write it on usb pen drive by Microsoft tool;

4)I have boot this usb pen drive; after some time, the PC show me a window for language select; I selected it;

5)Then it show me a windows with "Install now" button: I clicked it;

6)Then it show me this message: "Load Driver - A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD or USB flash drive, please insert it now. Note: If the Windows Installation media is in the Cd/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step".

Please, help me.

How did you format the USB? Try formatting it completely NTFS, and with only 1 partition.

Correct- this error 99.999% of the time means the installation source is corrupt. You might want to use real media (rather than an .iso download) to create the USB key. If you must download an ISO, make sure you're getting it from a legal source (i.e. Microsoft directly) and that you check the SHA and MD5 hashes to verify the ISO is correctly downloaded.

With a verified ISO, this tool is easiest to write to USB: Universal USB Installer – Easy as 1 2 3

Then boot stick under USB or HD's by tapping at startup ASUS F8 one-time BIOS Boot menu key.

Hi, I add some details:

Here, I refer to hard disk of Eee Pc. It had 4 partitions (2 hidden). I deleted all and then I created 2 in NTFS.

3)I have download a Windows 7 Home Premium x64 ISO, then I write it on usb pen drive by Microsoft tool;

I have downloaded from here: http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-65733/X15-65733.iso

and then I write it with this tool: Strumento per download su USB/DVD per Windows 7

(this tool format usb pen drive before write ISo image on it)

If you wont to reuse the USB Pendrive, use Method two in this tutorial:

Try remaking the installer with method two.

Hi, I am a very stupid guy. I put in the usb pen drive in usb 3 port. Now I used usb 2 port and installation is made.
