Morning, my name is Chauncey and I've got 25 identical Motion CL900 tablets to set up for field use.

I was wondering if it was possible to image one device after it's been setup and re-image the other 24 tablets with the created image. I know its *possible* but will there be issues with the Windows 7 key/activation process? Each device has an OEM key/product ID in place and I don't want to wipe it if at all possible. I intend to use Macrium Reflect Free Edition, are there better options for what I'm trying to do?

We'd also be using the original image as an emergency restore just in-case a tech in the field decides to get into some system aspects that they ought not have access to (taken care of but some of our guys are fairly crafty).

Any and all input is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time,

Chauncey

You can image on all devices but you must activate windows 7 again for each device with the original product key for each. you can remove the current product key by using command prompt run as administrator: slmgr.vbs -upk then type slmgr.vbs -ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx, where xxxxx is the original product key. then activate with this command: slmgr.vbs -ato you must be connected to internet while doing this. Hope this helps
