imported email missing

WLM import function yields empty 'imported folder'. Email being imported was already in WLM format. (Note: I Recently installed WLM on my XP machine in advance of replacement with a new Windows 7 machine. I successfully imported my OE files to WLM. However, as a test for when I must transfer my messages to the new machine I exported several folders and then imported them. The import was successful, showing messages being imported - except when I look in WLM the folders are empty! I fear when I get my new Windows 7 machine all my messages will be lost.) I've seen similar posts - but no usable response. Can anyone help?
