Solved install ssd and keep all programs without a reinstall of windows

I can`t make it any easier, you download Partition Wizard Free edition from the link I posted, then you install it on your ssd. When you have that done let me know.

Yes on the ssd, let`s grab that 3.05 GB of un allocated space and that will be it for tonight.

1st... Open PW

okay, it's open.

Now go all the way to the right side of the C partition on the ssd. Left or right (forget) click on the very end of it and pull it all the way to the right to take up all the 3.05 GB un allocated space, then click apply in the upper left hand corner.

You might, I say you might have to click on the C partition and first choose extend, you will get a drop down menu with many options, just click on extend.

Okay, took me a bunch of extend tries but unallowcated is gone.

Ok did you click apply, then get an all operations done successfully window, then did you click ok ?

Ya you have to grab the end of the partition just right, it takes a few times.

Sounds good. I think the old HDD can be deleted. But again, do you mean just delete or wipe clean. You know what you mean maybe I don't. I so much appreciate your help. Good night. Thanks again.

We are gonna delete all the partitions (except the Recovery partition) down to un allocated space. Then we will create 2 Primary partitions for storage.

If Greg says the Recovery partition is now useless, we will get rid of that too, no rush.

We will await his answer.

Yes, I already said Recovery will not work without the OS partition, and provided the steps with illustrated tutorials for him to use at his leisure to do whatever he wants to do.

With all that space there is no reason to rush, so he should take all the time needed to make sure everything is backed up first.

I'm still waiting to hear if the boot times improved to know if he even has an SSD install he should keep. So for the fifth time: did boot times improve when you unplugged the HD because if so then it should be wiped of boot code using Diskpart Clean Command ?
