"Installation Error"

While installing Nero Lite, at the 80% mark I got the Installation Error box.

"The installation cannot be resumed. A rollback of the failed component will be performed."

What does this mean exactly? What could have caused it? I got this same error with another program.

I haven't yet installed all of my programs after doing a Windows 7 install a couple of days ago. I COULD start all over, I guess.

Everything in my computer (except for the case) is new...hard drive, DDR3 memory, DVD Rewriter, Gigabyte motherboard, AMD processor. Well, not everything. I didn't get a new mouse or keyboard.

Are you installing programs as administartor?

I hadn't been. However, I read a tutorial on this site about how to install programs and I followed the tutorial with the Nero Lite last night. Still a problem. Previously, I was getting pop-ups saying that I couldn't do this or that, but went ahead a clicked on "Continue".
