As this is my first post here, I'd like to say "hello" to everyone :)

I have reached the point where I'm forced to say I don't know what to do :)
Yesterday I plugged my SSD and installed the OS, everything seemed to be fine, at least until I tried to install Nokia Suite. I got this:
kRDJKF2.png

I tried to run MS fixit thingies, but they won't even start because of that very same error :D

I didn't enable Windows Update at all, but the service (along with BITS) isn't disabled.

The MS' System Update tool did nothing and many errors still remain unfixed.
Please look into my problem. I can't use my phone properly and I seriously fear that I won't be able to install something in near future because of that.

I also get 0x80131700 and 0x80070490 when I'm trying to run network troubleshooters. My wired connection has been set as "public" and I can't change that because OS tells me I'm not connected to any networks (and since I'm writing this post on the PC/OS that requires some help, it seems like Windows is quite wrong...).

I'm open for any suggestions and every "do this / do that" as I want to know what's the culprit and I don't want to use the "last resort" option since I'm not sure the problem will not show up someday.

You appear to have some major corruption arising from a single update/install.... (KB2639308)
Code:
Summary:
Seconds executed: 42
 Found 342 errors
CBS Registry Error Total count: 340
CBS Watchlist Package Missing Total count: 2

I think I'd try to side-step the issue, and use System Restore to go back to a time before that update was installed, and see if that resolves the situation.

To be honest, using System Restore is not an option - the OS is still "fresh" and going back in time means that many apps will be deleted or will cease to function. So instead of playing cat'n'mouse with the error, I'd rather reinstall everything from scratch (it took me about 6 hours last time, so it's not a big pain), paying extremely high attention to the Home Group status and checking after every major installation if Nokia Suite installer will start or will I get a "welcome error".

Still, thanks for telling me that fixing this is kinda pointless. I hope I'll never get to see those errors again :)

I'll get back here when I reinstall everything just to inform if it was a one-time problem or not :)

Always install all the updates first - then worry about the applications, etc. That tends to reduce the chances of failure (in theory at least!)

Everything I did install was IE11, MS Codec Pack and some thing required by 3rd party apps (like VS runtime, .NET FW 4.5, etc.). Any other KB's had to install themselves via WU that I didn't disable on time (or at least that's how I see it).
Anyway - this time I'm sure there's nothing else besides what I want to install/update on my PC.

To sum up: I had reinstalled the OS from scratch and I installed tons of apps since then. So far, so good. No problems whatsoever :)

Thanks for the replies :)
