Hey there,
Im brand new to these forums in high hopes to get some help. I've been having this problem for 3days now and been posting on tons of forums so hopefully I can get some help here and i'll go ahead and explain my issue :). (Additional info: I built this computer almost 1yr ago. I had a family member install windows 7 for me while i was gone and he did the 32bit version but I DONT have the 32bit Disk anymore but I have a 64 Bit Refurbished PC Disk and Key laying around)

So, couple days ago I plugged in the MB and CPU no problems there. I had the W7 Installation disk inside the drive and went to my Bios to make sure everything was in order and that it recognized my 1TB hard drive and the Optical Drive. It did. I then set it to boot off of the CD then reset my computer. Turned it back on, clicked a key to boot from CD then I let it run saw it saying "Windows files" or something of the sort at the bottom. I then get to the Install Now section and as you can guess it did not work. I got an error this one to be exact..."No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, an then click OK" So then I decided to go back try Startup Repair. No luck there either but oddly enough I would get times where it says it finished and didnt find any errors and times where it says it failed. Odd. So then I ended up opening a Command Prompt and Cleaning my Hard Drive cause i thought well hey the old Windows 32bit is probably still in there and is messing this up! Nope. Still recieved my errors that I had from before.

I resulted in calling MS technicians an really did not recieve much help sadly. The man told me I have a corrupt Windows 7 Installer CD possibly and it was probably missing some files and said I can either purchase a new CD or download an installer or something like that. I have no idea where to do this. But if any of you do that will be awesome. Sorry for the long story of my life up there. I been putting 20 plus hours searching the web for a way to fix this.

Thanks for reading hope to be done with this.

Hi,

It does sound like a corrupt Windows 7 disc.

If you do not have a Windows 7 with SP1 ISO, then you can download the
latest official Windows 7 with SP1 ISO file here (Scroll down half way):

Alright this a really dumb question most likely. But oh well. Not even sure If its going to come out as a question...

Well I downloaded a file from that link, Popped in a CD for it to go on, an let it burn onto the CD. I didnt do nothing after that besides load up the Windows 7 corrupt CD i have an then took it out as soon as i got to the Install Now Screen. Was everything done correctly? Also I didnt click on the ISO file or anything I just left it as is and put it into the CD. Lemme know if all was right.

Although it might now be cause the steps I did above got me no where /:
