Hi there ziggie.

Is the system booting?
If yes, you're fine.

I would check the alignment

in command prompt type

diskpart > enter

List disk > enter

select disk 0, 1, 2, etc for the ssd > enter

list partition > enter

offset needs to be divisable by 4

Probably a good idea to make sure defrag is turned of for that drive also.

True, assuming it's set up correctly, I personally disabled the defrag manually as it didn't do it itself.

On machines with SSDs and a decent amount of RAM, I'd personally disable the defrag, disable hibernation, and disable the page file.

:ditto:

But with 8 GB of memory, I would let the system manage the page file, or set it to a max of 4 GB.

Windows will disable defrag when you install to an SSD. If you carry over an image from a spinner you need to set it yourself.

From personal experience this doesn't always happen (even having checked that TRIM is enabled).
