Installing Directx "An Internal Error has occurred"

Hi, i was having with playing games where it keep auto closing it and saying the exe has stopped working. so i tried installing directx 9 and this message popped up saying" an internal error has occurred. Please refer to the Dxerror.log and directx.log file to determine the problem"

Please help me with this.

How are you trying to install? Via the web installer, or the stand alone complete installer? Suggest the stand alone installer. Make sure to run it as administrator. Some have had to turn UAC off while installing.

ive successfully install directx. but is there a way to check if i have all the necessary directx in my computer?

Not really, you'll know if you get no DirectX errors. dxdiag will just show what major version is installed. A Guy

if im playing a game and then it crashed and said that the exe has stopped working, is it caused by the directx??

Unlikely if you have a good install. If it happens again, post a new thread and post a screenshot of the exact error and we can go from there. A Guy
