Installing WIn7 on 1st hard drive

i have vista nad got today window 7 ultimate and a 2nd and 3rd hard drive and want to install windows 7 on my 1st hard drive are my other hard drives ok and will windows only install on the 1st drive and leave the other 2 alone and not format them?

It won't format them, but it will add them to it's boot loader and set up a dual boot. If you don't want that, disconnect them before installing.

Yes you disconnect them before Installing the OS
