Hi guys
Im having a big problem
I just recently bought a Dell 7559 Gaming Series laptop and also added a M2 250 gb samsung 850 ssd. Now i want to move windows to SSD by doing a clean install. The problem is, for some reason whenever i put the usb after creating a live windows 10 usb, the system doesnt detect it. I disable secure boot, no help. I tried in Legacy boot mode in bios but it gives an error when i choose USB devices.
I had created a recovery disk before trying and when i connect that to the laptop and press F12, it shows up in the list of UEFI devices but the new live usb i created using RUFUS is not.
Is it because of usb 3.0 ports on the laptop? i researched it a lot and now im so tired.
Edit: Used Rufus and selected Fat 32 instead of NTFS and it solved the problem.
