Hey guys! I am new in this forum so I hope I am in a right section to ask this question, if no pleas redirect me
So I have Intel Rapid Storage Technology installed on my Sony VAIO, as I understand it's keeping eye on my heard drive and kind of preventing from damages, (this is what I suppose). Some time ago I installed newer version of [URL="http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=18859"]Intel Rapid Storage Technology and as always it's booting with the rest of the programs I want them to be booted, but this new version is really slowing down the boot, so I am thinking to remove it from start-up and my question is: is this program really doing what I think it's doing and also, will it be safe to remove it from start-up???
Thank you very much
