Hi there,

recently I've started noticing that when I'm using the Nvidia HD audio most times when I either start up a program or switch tabs on Chrome my audio distorts and gets slow, this happens across all audio platforms (iTunes, YouTube etc). It's driving me nuts and I'd like to try and find a fix. Tried reinstalling the latest Nvidia driver which didn't work at all. If anyone has any ideas I'm willing to try!

Thanks,
David

I notice that along with the NVIDIA audio for HDMI you also list the Intel Display audio. If you are using the NVIDIA, the Intel display audio should be disabled, in the Device Manager. This may not fix your problem, but it will eliminate a potential conflict problem.

If you use the PC audio (Realtek) with speakers or headphones do you have the same problem?

Hi there,

thanks for the reply! I done another clean install of the Nvidia drivers and it seems to be working now with no distortion at all.

Thanks,
David Nisbet
