Internet Access but no internet (Scan included)

Hello,

I have been sent here to report my internet issue that I am having. My computer internet has worked perfectly for over a year, but just very recently, I have had difficulties with my internet. On turning on my computer, I am told that I have internet access, however, I can not use the internet for anything ( update programmes, use browsers etc), I've looked up many solutions and tried them all, flushing DNS, uninstalling Bonjour, checking IP is set to automatic etc and none of them have worked for me. I use a TP-Link USB which allows me to connect to the wifi on my Windows 7 64 Bit PC. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Extra: The internet works perfectly on the Laptop downstairs, the other PC downstairs, phones, tablets, xbox 360 but NOT my Xbox One ("Cannot get a Teredo IP Address") and my PC which doesn't pick up any problems from the troubleshooter

Your IP configuration looks fine however your DNS resolutions do not appear to be working. You said other devices work therefore can you verify that the DNS server is the same on those devices?

Scratch that, your DNS resolutions do work but your network communication out doesn't. Could you try and ping your default gateway and see what happens:

Open a command prompt and enter the following and then press enter:

ping 192.168.0.1

After post your results here. Then can you boot the machine into Safe Mode with Networking and test connectivity.

   Note

Please replace all references of Safe Mode with Safe Mode with Networking. This will help to see if there is any third party application causing issues.

Also, could please temporary disable any anti-virus and firewall applications as these could also be suspect to blocking the connection.

Based on symptoms I am suspecting some form of malware or third party application however safe mode will hopefully shine some light.

@Shadowjk - I think you meant ping 192.168.0.1 ?

@ Network2k14 - It's normal to have two DNS servers named, not just the router (Default gateway). Check the IP config on the 'other PC downstairs', see if it's the same or if it has a second DNS server named.

I do believe I had some sort of malware recently (presumed to be a BotNet because it ran through Java as jusched.jar) if all else fails, would wiping my computer with a fresh install work?

Edit: how has my Xbox One became affected? I get that my NAT Type is on "Strict" and that it cannot "Get a Teredo IP Address", rebooting the Router seems to do nothing to it

NAT Type 'Strict' is a proprietary term used by some video games as describing the ports required are not open. This wouldn't be the cause of the issue on your computer and is most likely an isolated issue.

A teredo interface is a tunneling interface that allows the connection to an IPv6 network even though the local subnet is configured for IPv4. Unless you use IPv6 (Unlikely for a console) I wouldn't be too concerned. It shouldn't block normal network connectivity however if it does then it of course it will need investigating.

As for performing a clean install... should it be malware then yes it probably would solve it however that should be a last ditch effort. If it wasn't then there is a chance that a re-install wouldn't and therefore would be a waste of time.
