Hi everyone, I'm Joanna.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium. I like the Internet Checkers. I've played it dozens of times before with no problems, but now it won't start. When I click on the Internet Checkers icon from the Start menu, it tells me,
"The application closed because an error occurred. The error's number is -2147467259 (0x80004005)."
That shows up in front of the "loading" screen while the loading screen says Starting game... . I tried exiting and restarting the Internet Checkers application, as well as restarting the computer, but it keeps doing the same thing.
I'd say I'm average with computer ability. I can't exactly take the computer apart and put it back together blindfolded, but I use it every day, and I belong to the 'computer generation'. I'll need step-by-step guidance if you tell me to do something like multiple steps in the run command, to give you an idea of my capabilities.
Thanks in advance for your help!
