I was just browsing as per usual, and all of a sudden my connection died. I have not had any problems with my ethernet cable before and everyone else in my house is still able to connect and browse. It's giving me the connection symbol with the yellow and black exclamation point. I am also being told that my IP is not configured correctly. This is just another one of those random BS errors. How can I get my connection back?

I know it isn't the router/modem because the rest of the people in my house are not having connection problems, but Windows, being the pain it is, only tells me to try reseting the router/modem (which I did ad it didn't help).

Try running this batch file which will reset winsock, reset the TCP/IP stack and release renew your IP.

If you are still having problems after running the batch file then please post your ipconfig /all and we can go from there.
