How can I clean out my system of IE and download a brand new fresh one?

There are utilities that will clean out all plugins, extensions, re-register both 32 and 64 bit internet explorer files, if interested, can give short list.

the uninstall went without a hitch. I am holding off on re-installing for now via provided link.

question - what would happen if I revisit the Windows Turn Off/On Features and check the Internet Explorer 11 checkbox?

'should', not 'will'? assumption it does install itself, does this mean it is done automatically (i.e. without my having to push anymore buttons)?
