Hi,

For the past few weeks I have been having a problem where my wifi randomly cuts out and the only solution is to log off and log on or restart the computer. It used to be not a problem but recently it will cut out 5/6 times a day. There are no signs or warnings but anything I am doing requiring internet access just loses connection. Mainly when I am on Skype/YouTube/Leage Of Legends/Programming in HTML.

I have tried changing power options for my network adapter in Device Manager but no luck.

Any suggestions?

I believe that my PC is the issue because I can still access emails via wifi on my phone and tablet.
My ISP is Virgin but I don't think that I should contact them because the rest of my devices work on the wifi

If you can post a screen shot of the ipconfig/all from this machine it would be helpful. :)

Sorry I haven't posted yet but every time I try to on my PC I can't upload due to the internet failure. I have noticed though that in the system tray I still get an icon showing a GOOD connection.

You might try running a system file integrity check using the command sfc/scannow typed into an elevated command prompt.

Something sounds pretty messed up here.
