ipconfig running at startup

This may be nothing, but I've never seen it in previous OSes or on my Win7 x86 laptop. While the OS is starting up, one of the last things that happens is a DOS box pops up for less than a second -- barely enough for me to see the title -- and goes away again. It appears to be running ipconfig, but I can't see anything in the DOS box itself so I don't know what modifiers, if any, are on it. This is a relatively new Win7 install, and there's not much in terms of software on it -- certainly nothing that I wasn't running on XP. It's just odd behavior, and I worry that it might be something wrong, but I haven't found any mention of it happening to anyone else. Any thoughts?

sorry, should have mentioned

I should have mentioned that I checked both msconfig and hklm...run/hkcu...run and there's nothing that explicitly calls out for ipconfig to run. I will post screenshots of both shortly to see if anyone knows of a program that is running that is likely to call ipconfig.

Just thought I would add to this that....

1. I have noticed the same thing

2. I have checked Autoruns, and there is no reference to Ipconfig anywhere.

Not sure it is doing any harm, though!
