ipv6 no internet access

I had an Arris CM820 and I replaced it with a Motorola SB6121 and my download speed doubled on 2 PCs on my network. There is a plus to that too, Comcast no longer gets $7 a month for renting me a crappy modem. :D

Yes I had the old surfboard modem and I asked why only 16Mbps even though I used to get 32Mbps using the same modem.

They said I needed to update the modem so they gave me the CM820 "only choice I guess" and the speed went up to 22Mbps. I've heard of the SB6121 but I'd have to purchase it in order to get the faster speed I guess.

These ISP's are nothing but a giant scamming machine anymore, dirty, despicable and dishonest!

Oh and those Comcast issued modem/routers are definitely POS big time, Windows 8 forum has the same complaints about these cheesy hunks of junk. :zip:

This may not be the answer that people want to hear but it's the truth none the less.

It doesn't get me any points with these Op's who aren't hearing about the mythical magic fix everything button which does not exist but hearing the truth hopefully still has some meaning to some people and as far as I'm concerned this thread is solved. ;)
