Chances are that AVG was not fully removed. Happens a lot. Did you use the uninstaller provided on the avg site?
AVG Antivirus & Security Software - Download tools and utilities

Actually I was also thinking about that during I watched television. Sabrac, sorry to put you on tasks all the time, but can you go to the path \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\*avgldx64.sys* and see if the avgldx64.sys actually is there. Sorry for giving you bad instructions.

There's a chance that it's caused by the same thing, due to the file is still there.

Best Regards,
FredeGail

There is an AVG folder in the /drivers directory, but there is only a "compat12" text document in there.
And I ran the AVG remover just to be safe.

Also I just ran the Furmark test for 20 minutes. I'm not too sure what to make of the test, but it was going at 5fps while maxing out at 89-90C.

If you get errors on memtest86+, and then no errors later, the RAM is still very suspect.
More often then not, the RAM is the cause.

If you can give us some information, we can try some adjustments or rule it out.

Please fill in your 'System Specs'.

Sometimes errors from these tests can be corrected by adjusting the settings.

Can you download CPUZ and post a snip of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs.

Have you been checking your temperatures?
Use Real Temp for Intel CPU or Core Temp for AMD CPU , to check the CPU temps when at idle, under load and/or testing.
Let us know the minimum and maximum temps you get.
Go to your BIOS and tell us what the CPU, RAM and the CPU integrated memory controller voltages are.

In addition to the correct warning Dave gave, be careful on your Furmark testing!
Also I just ran the Furmark test for 20 minutes. I'm not too sure what to make of the test, but it was going at 5fps while maxing out at 89-90C.

I don't see any system specs filled in so I can't help you on your graphical card limits, but generally 5fps and these temps don't look too good IF you have a modern card. For most, though opinions differ greatly here, your 90% would be getting a scary bit too close to the limit... and 5fps, again, depending on card.. is not a good mark.

So, while using the tool was needed to really remove AVG, a good thing to do, I doubt that you are really out of the woods...:(

My graphics card is a EVGA Nvidia 9800 GT. As far as I've seen, it has a max temp limit of 105C.
And as far as my blue screens go, I haven't had a problem since I deleted AVG.

Okay well I recently solved a really persist irq issue by just moving a pci card from one slot to the other. (though this shouldn't have had any effect on it at all)
Was just curious if we could try the same thing with you.

Have you reset your bios at any point since this all began? (sorry I'm getting in on this one late)
It may not hurt to give the bios a chance to reset the escd information and to reassign the hardware irq's.
