Once every day or 2 days I get the blue screen below. I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I have ran Prime 95 and Intel Burn Test numerous times and pass every time. I have also updated my motherboard drivers (USB 3.0, sound, and what I think was called system drivers.) What could be causing this problem? I don't have much experience in diagnosing blue screens, so if possible dumb things down a bit please, thanks!

I just hopped on my laptop. I enabled the verified driver program and restarted only to have it bluescreen 3 times on startup (it has never done this before). It then did a repair, restarted again and another blue screen. These bluescreens all flashed very quickly, I didn't get a chance to read them. So I started in safe mode and that started ok, but my university won't let me sign on without their "policy key" running. So I'm on the laptop for now.

I'll work on posting the bluescreen results.

System specs are as follows:

Windows 7 x64 Pro
Gigabyte 890 GPA mobo
AMD X6 1055T processor
4 gigs of DDR3 G.skill

Here is the zip file of the BSOD Dump & System File Collection app AND the System Health Report (starts with "!" at the top).

A few more tidbits.. Is Windows 7
. . .
- x64 - downloaded through MSDN at university and installed on a clean drive - full retail version I suppose? The hardware and OS installation are not quite a year old

Thanks!

Have you re-installed the OS since you've gotten the computer? If you haven't then the computer has been having BSODs since the day Windows was installed. Where did you get your computer from?

Driver verifier didn't catch anything. Try running it until you get a BSOD captured.

All of the STOP 0x4A crashes had process ehrecvr.exe running when it crashed. This is either a coincidence (i doubt) or a problem with the software. It is a non necessary Windows service and belongs to Windows Media Player.

Follow the instructions from the link below to disable the service from starting with Windows.
How to Remove Ehrecvr.EXE Files | eHow.com

Code:
sptd.sys Sun Oct 11 16:55:14 2009 (4AD24632)
Remove Daemon Tools. Its driver, SPTD, is a known BSOD maker in Windows 7. Once DT is removed run the SPTD removal tool. DuplexSecure

Update to SP1 if you can - Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Please run these tests and report back the results
1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-cpu-stress-test-prime95.html
3. Hard drive scan usings SeaTools - SeaTools for Windows | Seagate - Both long and short tests

Ok, ehrecvr.exe disabled, Daemon tools uninstalled and I ran the SPTD removal tool to uninstall the driver. I'm pretty confident that the hardware is solid, but I will run memtest86 anyway.

SP1 update is downloading now.

Running SP1 now. I'm going to hold off until the next bluescreen (fingers crossed) before reenabling the Driver Verifier.

Rep to both of you, thank you very much.

New to this

Hi, I'm hopefully interpreting the forum guidelines correctly here.

I've recently been getting this BSOD and am under the impression I should post under this thread, if not please let me know.

I've attached my files below, lemme know if I'm missing anything.

(I've also enabled drive verifiers)
