Is possible to change not listed settings from register?

I tried many backup software, but I am more comfortable with the Win's built in, but now I have a problem:
I used to do every so a backup of some selected folders; it worked very well as since the latest backup new files were added, modified files were added keeping the precedent version, files untouched were skipped, but now when I start it, it says that has passed much time since the first backup, and therefore want to start a full backup again, so the files that have never being modified now are being copied again even if I already have them.
The problem is I have many big files that can't be replicated twice or I won't have any more space. I could do this full backup again, but I should first delete the old one, losing old version of my files.
So I was wondering if it's possible to delay the time this brand new full backup must start to my pleasure (1000 years!), or simply disable it via regedit, because there is nothing wrong continuing updating the first full backup for me.

Hello BEBBOI, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you like, you could use step 4 in the tutorial below to "Change settings" to your current backup setup to uncheck the folder(s) that these large files are in to no longer have them included in the backup. You may need to move any files in these folders that you do want to continue to be backed up to another folder location that is included in the backup though.

Thank you, but doing what you suggest is troublesome for me.
I just found http://www.sevenforums.com/backup-restore/78241-changing-auto-full-backup-settings-registry.html which might be what I'm searching for, but the author had a problem, so have I.
Also http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...reate-incremental-backup-shortcut.html?filter[2]=Backup%20Restore which I think it may trigger only an incremental backup, bypassing the forced full backup, but it doesn't explain if that's the case.

You could turn off the schedule for an automatic backup to prevent the occasional full new backup, but you would need to remember to manually create backups using either the Backup - Make a "Create Incremental Backup" Shortcut or press the Back up now button in Windows Backup. They both do the same thing.

I always do manual backup clicking 'back up now', for so long it worked as I liked, but now it starts a full backup which I stopped, and you if you say this is the same as going through my second link I posted, this discard my second option.

It'll be worth giving a try to see if it nay create an incremental backup with the shortcut.
