Issues with use of RAM.

When I used to log on to my computer my CPU meter used to always read that there was only <10% of RAM in use when I was idle. Now when I am idle on the home screen it always reads that I am using 30-40% RAM. I am completely confused as to why this is the case. I did not do anything to my computer for it to just randomly start doing this. I tried restarting, system restore, driver updates, system updates, etc. Nothing seems to be working. I opened up task manager and it shows that I have 75-85 processes running when the computer opens up. I am not entirely certain why they are running or what they are, but most seemed linked to the computer in general, .exe and so on. Can anyone tell me what I can possibly do to fix this problem. It is really affecting my system performance.

Can you post some screen snips of the CPU meter & the task manager process for us. Also some specs on your system woud be helpful also.

Model - Toshiba Satellite L875D-S7210

Processor - AMD A6-4400M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.70 GHz

RAM - 4.00 GB (3.47 GB usable)

OS - Windows 7 64-bit

If there are any more specs you need to know please let me know.
