After 6 years of gaming abuse, it's time to upgrade from Quad-Core to Haswell. PC is still going strong with most games played on max/ultra settings @ 1080p but as new games are coming out every now and then with higher specs, I guess its wise to upgrade now
I will be upgrading core components of my PC i.e. Motherboard, CPU, GPU and RAM. All storage devices will be carried over.
Motherboard
Asus P5E3 will be replaced with Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H
CPU
Intel Quad-Core Q6600 will be replaced with Intel Core i5-4670k
GPU
2 XFX 5770's will be replaced with Gigabyte GeForce GTX770 OC Windforce 3X Graphics Card - 2GB
RAM
4 x 1GB Corsair XMS3 will be replaced with 8 GB DDR3-RAM PC1600 CL9 ADATA XPG V1.0
I will post the pics and benchmark results once parts are here
