iTunes locked disk or you do not have write permissions

Hello,

I am not an expert technician, but have tried everything I have been able to search for online to no avail. This iTunes locked disk message will not go away no matter what I do. I am attempting to install iTunes 64 bit (version 11.0.5?) and have had no luck for several hours. I have tried the takeownership.zip approach found on this forum, but wasn't sure where to apply it, so I am hoping someone else can help me get this installed.

Welcome to Seven Forums Narfsplat. Easy way is add the Take ownership shortcut

Then right click on the iTunes folder and choose the Take ownership option. A Guy
