Itunes will not start, Windows 7

I have an acer with Windows 7 and about a week ago I went to open my itunes and it wouldn't open. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it did nothing. My computer is all up to date and everything and when I try to open it all that happpens is a user control that asks if i would like to make any changes to it, so I click yes and that's it. Please help!

Did you check notification area, if it minimizes there? Is there iTunes process running in task manager?

Try uninstalling Quicktime first and try, then move on to other Apple products.
Try updating other Apple products. Or uninstall all Apple stuff and reinstall iTunes like that.
