iType v. 7 not compatible with 64-bit system

Hello:

A while ago, I upgraded to an SSD, and at the same time, I upgraded from my Win 7 Ultimat, 32-bit to the corresponding 64-bit. As I refuse to give up my Windows Natural Multimedia Keyboard, I did not install ITPx64_1033_8.0.225.0.exe (v. 8), because it does not accept PS1, which is the only connection on my keyboard.

Note: I refuse to give up my keyboard because it is ergonomic, has multimedia keys, and is light gray (I can see the buttons ... what a novel idea these days when everything is pitch black

So, I have used ITPx86_1033_7.00.260.0.exe (v. 7) since then, and it has worked well. A while ago, it gave me problems, and I think I must have uninstalled it. When I am trying to reinstall, I get the error message "Setup cannot continue because this software is not supported on 64-bit operating systems."

This must be the result of some Windows updates. Would anyone have any idea what I can do to salvage my keyboard?

You need to install the 64 bit version of Intellitype
Install ITPx64_1033_7.00.260.0.exe, the version you installed is 32 bit.
This site has 7.1 which they say is PS/2 compatible
