Just Reformated(Multimedia Audio Contrtoller)

Hello Ive been here before to fix my stuff but i cant find my this time since i just signed up i'll tell u my specs.

Windows 7 Ultamite x64bit
AMD x2 Dual Core processor +6000
3GB's of RAM
Asus Motherboard (M2N E SLI)
ATI 4890 Video Card

Now last night i was playing World of Warcraft and Using a Voice over ip (Ventrilo) and then all the sudden it Stopped working and it was telling me that my "Multimedia Audio Controller Driver" is not working so i go and download one and when i try to install it. It tells me that it cant so i spend the next 30 Mins Confused and i figured that i would Reformat my PC then try it again, This being the case ive just installed all my drivers and all that craptastic stuff. So I load up the Sound Recorder and hope that it finally Fixed my problem and turns out it hasn't so i sit there fairly angry not knowing were to turn next. Is My bluit in soundcard busted? what can i do to fix this becuase i would really like to use my $ 120 microphone again

What do you mean by craptastic stuff.... other sound software??? Where did you get the Win7 64 bit drivers? Hopefully Asus... remove everything and use only the most updated driver from the asus site...

lol By Craptastic stuff i mean like the other drivers listed on the Asus Support page for downloading drivers. i Downloaded a few drivers about 45 minuntes ago.
