Random freeze, especially while gaming. NMI parity error.
Hello guys.
Quite recently I'm getting the Kernel-Power 41 (63) error. My PC just freezes up, and lights stay on. The power button does not work, so I need to restart my PC by clicking the reset button.
I've recently installed a new PSU, because my old one was causing problems, like randomly disconnecting (fixed now) and INCLUDING this one.
No .dmp file is created, because I have no BSoD, just a freeze.
Happens once in 2 days, sometimes twice a day, sometimes once a day.
Specs:
PSU: Corsair RM750i
Motherboard: ASRock Z75 Pro3
CPU: Intel i7-2600 3.4GHz
Video Card: MSI Nvidia GTX 970 Gaming 4G
RAM: 8GB DDR3
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
Case: Zalman Z11 Plus
I am not overclocking.
EDIT: I just realised that the error is irrelevant. Kernel-Power only occurs because I press the reset button. The actual PROBLEM is the random freeze/lockup.
Today. I got about two NMI Parity Errors and i have no idea what to do. I've done MemTest86+ and Memory Diagnostic Tool on Windows. The RAM is the same age as the HDD. I've already reseated it like 5 times and it holds in well. Any ideas?
