Keyboard Glitch on Startup

Hi, windows 7 was all running smoothly until the other day i couldnt do anything and found that my windows button(?) was constantly pressed, it does this everytime i start my computer and i have to press it to get rid of it. I could provide more info if this isnt an easily solvable item,

lol, i dont think i ever drink anything infront of my keyboard. but that does raise the question that it could be the keyboard side not my computer?

Know this sounds obvious, but have you or anybody you know got another keyboard to try, so you can see if its the keyboard at fault.
Have you downloaded the latest drivers fo the keyboard, what keyboard is it.
