Hello!

So I managed to spill a cup of tea earlier today, spilling tea over my desk, hitting a few keys of my keyboard - a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2012 edition.
Most of the keys on the keyboard didn't work, or needed to be hit several times before anything happened.
I have restarted the PC, changed USB port and even changed keyboard to some old Logitech one, but most keys still doesn't work.

Since the keys aren't working on either one of the keyboards I tried I have no clue what could have happened, and need some help figuring this one out.

All help appreciated! :)

Could be the damage to the first keyboard damaged the PS/2 port or the USB port it was plugged into which in turn causes a replacement keyboard to not be full functional. Best thing I've done with spills is to immediately unplug the keyboard and turn it over to drain as much liquid out as I could then I've rinsed it out with clear water, shook and tapped it to get any water out then put in the sun to dry for several hours.

I turned it over but nothing came out, i took the keys out of the keyboard and it was completely dry underneath. Close to no liquid could have came into the keyboard from the top, still the keys are acting funny. I can try to use a third keyboard which is even older to see if that works, but it still bugs me.
I've had another issue before, but the effect was only on some keys, and it didn't apply to several keyboards, and was simply something stuck underneath the switch making it say 'ON' or 'OFF' all the time.

I just started by PC as I've slept, been to school etc, and the keyboards suddenly work again. I have no clue what might have caused it but at least it is solved.

This is probably because they dried out, allowing any short circuits that were happening to stop, in turn getting the keyboard to work.

If that tea had sugar/milk in it, it might start acting up again anytime.

The keyboard has been acting weird since I got it, although spilling tea etc. doesn't make it better to be fair.
The next keyboard I get won't be a Razer keyboard for sure, as I really dislike the Razer Synapse stuff, which also makes the LED's in both this keyboard and a previous owned mouse turn off etc.
