This is something that I have to pass on. Recently, I had a problem which started out as a downloading problem and evolved into a re-installation of Windows 7. I had tremendous input from many of you and I tried numerous angles and processes. I was not able to get the re-install going but I kept on trying over and over and then for some reason it downloaded and put my computer back in operation again. I reported that. This morning (5/25) I started downloading some stuff, being very selective. Java was the last of 4 items that I did and after that, I rebooted and damned if my computer stalled on Windows Starting and I went in to the process same as I did last night kept trying and trying and got nowhere. Then, I thought about anything that I might have done with the computer that might have caused some problems and the only thing that came to mind was that I installed a new keyboard about a month or so ago. At that time, I had a problem because when I was getting acquainted with it I hit the key with the moon on it and my computer went to sleep and to make a long story short, it took three days to get going again. So, now I had this new problem this a.m. and thought let me try my old keyboard. I hooked it up put the computer on got the selection to start the computer normally or repair and I chose normally and it came to the Windows Starting and then I seen those little colored bubbles coming and after that, my computer came on. The keyboard that I bought is a Dell M/N:KB522 Multi-Media. Could this Keyboard give me these kinds of troubles???

Dude I think he is talking about the Windows colored flag coming together and Windows starting properly.
To answer your question; yes a keyboard it's program and or drivers can cause all kinds of problems. Any thing you load onto or attach to a computer can cause problems.
