LAN/Wired Local Area Connection - Unidentified Network; No Internet

I dislike Apple's bonjour, but it wouldn't have an effect on the ip address.

But it does create the same Unidentified network problem which ruins the internet connection and has been doing this for well over a year now. The link below is from just last week and there are many more just like it.

I have another name for bonjour service, I call it sabotage.

The Op might want to try ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew at this point.

HEY!!!! Just moments ago... when i woke up... the connection is back on!

I seriously don't know why... but the last action I had was removing bonjour.

Oh it helped for sure, this exact problem has come up here many many times over the last year and a half. One of the benifits to hanging out in the boring old networking section of the forum LOL.
