Hi,

Several times I've installed Windows 7 and always had the same problem of the CPU running Hot. Has anyone come across this problem? If so, any tips.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply.

Intel Duo Core T5450 1.67
2GB of Ram
Using Win7 64Bit

The problem I'm having is only with Win7 (XP, Win2003, Win Server 2008 and Vista are okay)

Thanks again.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

The power saver is what I'm using. Battery is important for me as I'm always on the road. The problem I'm having really drains the battery.

Thanks.

try reducing the gamma on the TFT screen, remove all the aero and the other GUI eye candy stuff, no backgrounds etc

put everything (or almost everything into sleep in 5 min ;)
