Hi there,

I hope a friendly person can help me to resolve some unexpected issues with my laptop. I don’t know why, but the laptop takes too long to shut down, would this be a problem with my hard drive? I have checked on the event viewer and I have seen some yellow exclamation warning and some red exclamation errors these errors constantly repeat over and over on the system event viewer.

Hi Milway,

welcome to the forums.

Can you please check the device manager (Control Panel\System and Security\System) to see if you have any errors under network adapters

have you recently run any updates? expecially in the wireless department?

the errors relate to wireless configuration. are you losing internet connection at all?

Hi Ascompters,
Thanks,:) I don’t have any errors under network adapters, and yes, I did an update on my wireless card recently, because I was losing connection every 20 minutes or so, lately is been from 5 mins to 2 mins or back to 20 or 45 mins that I can stay connected to the net. I still haven't found the solution for this I don’t know if might be the wireless card or the router.

Now I am having another issue also, I have run a check on my hard drive for errors and it did find some error on the drive, I thought the whole issue with the slow shutdown might come from there. Well, I couldn't run the check because my Kaspersky antivirus was blocking the test, so I had to uninstall the program, and now I am left with another issue.

Every time after I restart and logging into my desktop and press the start window signal I get the following error “The specified module could not be found (msls31.dll)”

I guess that is one error after another, :sleepy: any thought on these issues :sarc: or should I make another topic for this issue?.
