I'll see what the kids over at rage say before installing as I'm pretty happy with the first 11.4 preview right now.

Ati 11.2 + 11.3 DO NOT WORK!

Stick to 11.1 if you got it working.

That would be because with an AGP card you have to use the AGP hotfix driver, which usually comes out a few days after the officiak release.

Thanks but Hotfix and PCI-e drivers (11.2/11.3) were trialled - even forcing various nonspecific 4600 series/4670 drivers (which worked before) could not get anything running!

11.3, 11.4 previews, RC's are still a fail for me because of continuing CCC issues. From the quick go I've had, the drivers themselves seem fine - it's the bloody new 'not quite functional' CCC that's holding me back...

Seriously, how damn hard is it to re-fix the multi-screen flickering and to make the user created presets actually bloody work?

The old profile manager worked perfectly fine and a new facelift is all well and good- just make the bloody thing functional.


It's really giving me the shits being stuck on 10.10e and having to miss out on the improvements because of this crap.

Man that's effed up. Have you visited Rage to see if they have any suggestions? Maybe give Spyre a holla there; He's the resident beta tester for ATI, though he can be a little ornery at times so.....

Hard to believe isn't it? After all he is a lovely person with a wonderful attitude that doesn't rub me the wrong way in the slightest

That's the method I use , I also use Driver Sweeper.

have you tried un-installing the ccc then the driver for the card in device manager turn off pc take card out re-sit card re-boot pc let windows install driver for card then install ccc?

I did the 11.3 the first night, found it alright, the sencond 11.4 preview as already mentioned is bloody good.

FWIW I gained 10fps going from 11.2-11.3 in furmark, running for 10mins. Then yesterday I went to the 2nd preview of 11.4 from 11.3 and gained another 10fps ontop of what I'd gained already. Again running for 10mins. That's MSi 6870's OC too 950 on the cores and 1150 memory at standard voltage. Due to afterburner being huge fail in crossfire when under full load in BC2.

• Dream Lords - resolves negative CrossFire scaling
• The Sims: Medieval - resolves negative CrossFire scaling and Forced on Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center has been disabled
• Dark Spore - Improves CrossFire performance
• Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood - Updated profile to further improve CrossFire performance
• Duke Nukem Forever - Improves CrossFire performance

Can I use these with the previous 11.4 preview drivers? Haven't updated to the new ones yet. I usually like to wait for the next release before updating. This way I get to read and see what the drivers are doing.

Anyway I'm just wondering if I can use the CAP with the previous drivers.
