Yes it still looks horrendous.

I disabled CCEnhancer (previously) because I couldn't figure out what the extra cleaning locations/options actually do.

You can Right click on an entry in the Summary list of files to be deleted, and then click View detailed results.
This will show you what files will be deleted.
From the detail window you can run the cleaner on just those files, or return to the Summary results.

Just downloaded the new version of CCEnhancer and the trim function works better now.

I waited until the Slim (no toolbar) version of Ccleaner was released today before trying to update to the latest version.

I can't say that the new look bothers me. I notice that if left to it's own devices it will run the 32bit version by default and if you want to run the 64bit version you have to manually create the shortcuts or am I missing something?

Anyone else noticing issues with the CCEnhancer sites certificate? Opera won't open it at all (I was able to get there with a SSL proxy).

I'm not getting active x filtering symbol but I did get a popup message only secure content is displayed what the risk...
Both tabs I opened to the were still spinning as if the page was still loading possibly that was what the popup message was blocking ?

Firefox seemed to load okay without any sign of error :/
I personally wouldn't touch ccleaner/ enhancer with a ten foot poll but to each his/ her own

I am aware that you can view the details of the files to be removed (after running Analyze).
You can also just double click on an entry to view the details.

That's not what I meant.

I meant that I don't know what the various cleaning options are going to remove from the system.
Some options generate warning messages.
There are a stack of options in the picture below that I have no idea about (and that picture just shows the Windows Applications list).

I only use the ones that are fairly obvious.

Also, the additional options seem to cause CCleaner to become sluggish and resource hungry.

CCEnhancer site vs Opera

I can confirm that I had the same issue but I use an outdated version of Opera - portable 12.17 64bit.

Edit: Using http instead of https allows connection in Opera with protocols TLS 1, 1.1 & 1.2 enabled = SSL 3 disabled

Running a test on singularlabs shows the following regarding browsers that use Server Name Indication:

SSL v3.0 is disabled on my machine and browsers however I can visit any of these sites using Cyberfox with SSL 3 disabled.

Agreed.

That's the reason I don't use the majority of the available System options.

I'm not as concerned about program options.
There are only a couple of programs that I want to retain their history.

One entry that many users have problems with:

That's one of the options I'd never set.

I spent/wasted a lot of time playing with ShellBags in XP.

Trimming makes a huge difference, runs a LOT faster.

When I downloaded that file something (Windows Explorer?) had a fit.

The content vanished from the windows of various programs (e.g. Winamp & Notepad++).
It got better though.

Update
The setup procedure for trim.bat was a little confusing.

It seems to have improved the performance of CCleaner + CCEnhancer significantly though.
