Driver problem

Hello I installed windows 7 and I got a x58 deluxe motherboard and I instaled the intel chipset 5 series and I wonder is that the right 1 for me? and why cant i install them only way I can install it is in device manager and when i do that all goes to 9.1.1.1005 and 9.1.1.1013 and none went to Version: 9.1.1.1019 is this right? or what should I do

You have to read the release notes. They may or not be in your download, but they are the Intel site where the download originated.

Are you experiencing a particular problem?

no but I want to instal the drivers from the website I got x58 deluxe motherboard is the cipset 5 series for that? and wh ycant I install it I have seen other pll whit the same problems and they havnt got any help

You are not defining a problem. You have not acknowledged whether or not you read the release notes.

If you would define a problem, I might take the time to read the release notes for you. Otherwise, I have no need to know what the driver update contains.

it says in the realese notes i some windows 7 platform or sumting already got the drivers for ur intel software i tink thats true becuse when I run the ntel update exe it only instal 2 stuff noting else but the ting is it says on the other stuff that they are from 2006 and whne I run the setup files they are from 2008 but some of the mare from 2006 all are except 2

I DO NOT see you as having a problem.

The chipset driver CAN USE components released years ago if those functions and components have not been modified. The range of dates is not unusual at all. In fact, it is extremely common.

A chipset may be new. It is not necessarily built from all new parts.

ok but all other is from 2006 that came whit my os then when i did intel update it instaled 2 new intel drivers from 2009 isnt it bad to have difrent versions

You do not have two different versions. You are not providing any detail.

Yes you can...it is natural for mix matching dates in chipset drivers since those will contain many driver files for many components.

Ex. My SM BUS driver on my PM965 chipset is from 2007...but my PM965 chipset main driver is from 9/7/2009. This is perfectly normal

If you are worried about it than do this...

download the installer, shift+right-click open command prompt on the folder where the installer was placed. type the name of the installer + -override. This will force all drivers to be updated with the drivers in the chipset

ex. C:\Users\Chris\Downloads\<chipsetname>.exe -override

You will also have to add -overall to the command and run it again

Do you have a 32 or 64 bit system i think when you try install a 32bit version of the driver something like that may appear.
since you have run it in the cmd box you had the admin privileges.
i think will have to wait a little bit longer for the intels compatible drivers for W7.
