IE9

Keep getting this while opening pages, anyone else??

Much better than IE8.
Seems to run Seven Forums faster than Chrome, always thought it was the internet connection, page changes and refreshes take longer on chrome, much longer.

Might have something to do with the site.

Live ID is installed but feedback is still not working

Same here - keeps asking me to install it, then says I already have a newer version. I used Microsoft Connect to file feedback.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with IE9 and the new Adobe 64 bit flash. Have to remember it is a Beta and somethings are not going to be 100%, or even 0% in some cases.

What a let down!

The first message I got after installing IE9 was "Internet Explorer has stopped working".

No change there, then.

It seems quite nice, I like the minimal interface, very "chrome-like".

Pretty soon it will be hard to tell the browsers apart if you take the label off.

I will stick with Chrome until IE9 comes out of beta, though I appreciate chrome is
in permanent beta by design

Feedback tool doesn't work

If it is saying failed click the blue text and it will take you to the right pages to sign up for feedback

YOu will also need to install the Windows Live Sign-in ID Tool aswell to send feedback (if you dont already have it)

Run that first then open IE9 then send feedback
You have to fill in a little form first but no problem

Must say not very pleased with ie9. Most sites loaded very slowly (including SF), some needed to be refreshed before they opened. My CC page refused to load. Status bar did not work despite being enabled. Have gone back to ie8 and everything's loading normally now.

I can confirm that this happens to my system too. Sometimes, however, refreshing isn't enough and the best way is to right-click the tab and duplicate it.

When you attempt to print a webpage, IE9 closes down and re-starts.

Print works fine on me...

Under task manager I show these 2 running:

Microsoft Windows Live ID Service
Microsoft windows Live ID Service Monitor

I'm guessing it is then.
Another guess, my Connect won't let me remove things from MY Dashboard, may be an issue there.
I am going to clean up my Windows Live ID, I had 2 or 3 signins, not needed.

What causes pictures, videos, and ads to not load or view properly? On some websites they like go in and out and disappear. Thanks

I like, . I'm running dual monitors so I like being able to drag a tab onto my second monitor and have it open as a new window. Any body figure out how to make IE x64 the default browser? I've pinned it to my taskbar and start menu but if I click a link in an e-mail or some other program it opens in IE 9 x86. Make Default is greyed out in the Internet options menu.

edit: oops, I've read that anti-virus or antispyware software should be disable.. (3rd try of installing, this time it should work)

Mine is not greyed, I CAN make IE9b x64 my default browser

Are you sure about that?
