This program update contains the following major features:
* Changes in the autosandbox module
* Improvements in Remote Assistance (support for UAC prompts etc)
* Improvements in SafeZone (protection against kernel-mode keyloggers; Updated SafeZone Browser; clipboard sharing, etc.)
* Outlook plugin redesign
* Opera support in WebRep
* SiteCorrect module for the detection of unwanted websites
* Windows 8 compatibility updates

Known issues:
* Autosandbox still not completely finished
* Outlook plugin is not running correctly when you have more than 1 active account
* Windows 8 compatibility still experimental
* Problems with sandboxing of IE8 on Windows 7

Should one install the beta version or wait for a few days till the final version gets released? I prefer the latter not only for Avast! but also for all other software.

Except for some open source software that always remains beta.

Fixed issues from previous beta:
* No sounds on Vista/W7
* All known BSOD
* Stability fixes on Win8

Known issues:
* Outlook plugin is sometime not running correctly when you have more than 1 active account
* Windows 8 compatibility still experimental
* No translations have been updated so far, so all new items are in English

Has anyone tried Avast latest beta on W8 CP?

Have seen a lot of problems with just about any AV on the Win8 versions, so have been using Defender for now.
Plan on testing Avast on the RP soon.

Is this a beta version? Looks like it because the Avast! Free installed on my computer doesn't update on pressing on the update Button and continues to display 7.0.1426 as the current version.

I think I might just as well wait for a few more days for a non-beta release.

Message for WIN7 Home premium 64bit/Maybe other WIN versions also:
This AVAST! version has many problems. That Sandbox mode blocks out many game SETUP/EXE files as false positives indcating viruses which they dont have. Only way to allow them is to put them into custom ignore database.
