League of Legends freeze after login

You sure LoL uses chrome ? I've always heard that it uses Internet Explorer and I didn't even have it installed when i tried launching the game after reinstalling Windows

It freezes everything, that's how i could tell that 23 seconds passed, i had the clock on screen and it froze too. Most of the time all i can do is move my mouse, sometimes it even freezes that

Update: The support ticket i sent to Riot has been passed to a Technical Support Team

Try disabling IE addons too then there are references to chrome within the logs, can't say which one top of my head, you can search.

It's still the same, i also tried some other solutions that i saw on the game forum but same result.

Oh btw, the extra folder in the logs me and my friends think it's about a game mode that was added in that period of time

Can't remember, did you try with Anti Virus disabled?

Already tried, when i reinstalled Windows i only installed the game. For now, I'll just wait for Riot's answer to see what they think
