Hi, first of my problems is that my PC wont recognise my monitor? but the main problem is with the playing of games or not in this case, everytime i try to log on to wow i have more flashing then a 70s disco and then my screen goes black and crashes to my desktop. LG have replaced the monitor 2 times already and say that they work fine and on the PC upstairs ( vista) it does work well. They now say its a problem with windows 7 and some monitors and i will have to wait till a patch is released, to me this is just passing the buck!. I can play my games on my old monitor which is another LG ( L1919s) and it works very well but i would like to play on my widescreen. I have reinstalled everything and still no joy, please if any of you guys have a idea then please let me know, this has been going on for nearly a month , thank you in advance.

Have you tried installing the drivers for your monitor?

I agree with TGSoldier, as your monitor right now says Generic PnP monitor. I am suprised LG didn't suggest this first

Sorry but could you give me a step by step guide on installing from opening with winrar? thank you

Extract the files to somewhere.

In device manager, right click on your monitor and click update. Chose the manual option and point it to the inf file you just extracted.

Thank you done that and the monitor is now recognised but my problem is still there, not nearly half as bad but still crashing. The monitor is working perfectly in every other way but the reason i bought it lol . I have reinstalled all the drivers and now im stumped, thank you for taking the time to help me.

I'm using a W2353, and I did have some issues at first,due to the F-engine(I think thats what it was called) that came with the driver CD. Once I got rid of it, I havent had any issues.(with the monitor at least)

Well its me again OK its not the monitor after all, i went out and bought a new one today but the problem was still there ( new monitor is now back at shop ) so I'm thinking its more to do with my G/card ?? the games play well enough on this monitor and at lowish settings but when i play or more to the point TRY to play on the bigger monitors it goes nuts!! any ideas please i would be very grateful, also sorry if im cheeky, could you recommend a decent G/card ( £200 or so ). Thank you in advance.
