Hello Alexy, and welcome to Seven Forums.

No worries, you only removed the included folders for those the libraries.

Each default library contains the two folder locations below by default. You can just add them to the appropriate library to restore them. Substitute folder in the path below with the folder for that library. For example, Documents folder for the Documents library.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/585-library-include-folder.html
  • C:\Users\(user-name)\folder
  • C:\Users\Public\folder
Hope this helps, :)
Shawn

I see 2 folders for Documents but for Pictures and Videos only 1, how do I add as in default?

Apologize for my ignorance.

Apologize to be botherin you again Brink.

1. Have C:\Users\XPS\folder
C:\Users\Public\folder only for My Documents.

2. None for Music.

3. For Pictures and Videos just C:\Users\XPS\folder.

How can I have both C:\Users\XPS\folder
C:\Users\Public\folder for the rest 3 i.e Music, Pictures and Videos?

Windows Search is on and have indexing unchecked.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

Thanks Brink, which option should I adopt, the 1st or 2nd one?

I get this error using 2nd option?

Can one delete all libraries and create new ones?

Are you able to navigate to and directly open your C:\Users\XPS\Music folder in File Explorer?

There might be an issue with that folder instead.

My other lap's libraries are fine, running W7, indexing disabled?

I probably dragged the mouse on the Dell?

Brink got it solved. I restored the last created full image.

I have a question if in Services, Windows Search is disabled I get the same results when clicked on locations as Unresponsive, but when enabled it's fine.

My lap's HDD in My computer > rt click > Properties indexing is unchecked, should that box be checked too along with Windows Search or it doesn't matter.

Thanks.

That's great news. :)

If you would like files on the C: drive to be indexed, then you would check it. The default setting is checked.
