So a little over a month ago I started getting Blue Screen errors for DRIVER_IRQL_IS_NOT_LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL. I know there's another BSOD forum, but that isn't my concern at the moment. I figured out it was being caused by netw5s64.sys, which was an intel driver problem. So I started updating my intel drivers. The first one I updated was the graphics driver. After that was installed, my resolution went horrible. I have the resolution set to 1024x768, the highest available option, but it's still poor to the point of being very annoying to use.

I've tried a couple fixes but nothing has worked, any help would be greatly appreciated. After that I'll see if the BSOD problem was fixed and work on that.

Hi mackermann.

Click on the button below ....

It will download the DM log collector. Right click on the application and run as administrator. It will generate a .zip file on your desktop. Upload the .zip.

It will not only help you to fix the BSOD issue but also help you to fix the Intel WiFi driver issue.

Hello,

Thanks for the help. I used System Restore to fix the resolution issue, as it did not stop the blue screens. I had to use safe mode, as my access was denied to the system restore. I am hoping that is not a sign of a virus or malware.

Here is the ZIP file.

Download and install ....

McAfee causes network blockage BSODs wherever it is present. Uninstall McAfee Using McAfee Removal Tool. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Let us know the result.
