Sounds like a last-ditch attempt to please all the people that freaked when the original Live Mesh was canned. Personally, I always liked Live Sync better. The one thing they've taken out of the beta that I want back, is the ability to share a synced folder with read-only permissions. As this new beta stands, you have to give full add/edit/delete permissions to everyone you sync your folders to, and that drastically reduces practical applications for this ... application. :sarc:
