The Cooler Master HAF series is a good one, with side HDD bays, which are great.
I have the 932 (full tower) and the cable management is great.

I have a really nice Antec Two Hundred. It cost me $65 CDN and is great for airflow. Adding drives is a snap, and so is cable management. It even features a hot swap SATA bay in front.

This is it:

Not sure if you can get it in Australia, but it's a good buy, and well put together.

Good choices, but I wouldn't buy the 4350. It's a little weak. If you're going to buy a Radeon in the 4000 series, I like my 4670's, and they aren't much more expensive than the 4350.

For power supplies, I have a really good OCZ Stealthstream 600 that's been running like a top for over a year, and it's rock solid. The only drawback to it is that it mounts in the bottom of the Antec 200 and the 12V P4 and P5 aux CPU power connectors aren't quite long enough to route around the motherboard tray, and they have to lay overtop the GPU. I solved the problem by making an extender cable for my P4. You can buy them from computer shops as well. It might be a little problem with some supplies, but like I said, you can buy extenders.

Good luck with the new build. :)

It says the case comes with a top 140mm fan and a rear 120mm fan. They usually plug into a molex connection on the power supply. As for the power supply pending on which graphics card you decide to go with you could get by with a 600w pending on the amps on the 12 v rail and the cards requirement.
I always believe you should buy a quality power supply since it is a core component in your system so I tend to by more than I need leaving room for upgrades, more fans, hard drives or xfire or SLI so I would recommend a 600w. an Corsair, Antec Coolermaster of course pending on your budget they have some good ones on your site Power Supplies - 600W - 699W | Techbuy Australia Hope this helps. Fabe

The Antec case comes with a 120mm rear fan and a 140mm top exhaust fan. Both have standard Molex connectors which plug into the normal connectors used for IDE hard drives and older CD ROMs. The fans are speed adjustable by switches on the rear of the case. Mine are attached to a fan controller, along with two 120mm intake fans, and a 120mm side fan blowing on my GPUs. The airflow is great, but I suggest you get quiet fans. The ones that come with the case are very quiet.

Stillfreefilms, have a look here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/80392-graphics-card-install-new-card.html

Having integrated graphics is NOT a hindrance (in some cases it is an asset), and the GFX card will always override it.

About the CPU, I recommend you pick out your CPU beforehand. For instance, certain CPUs have certain socket types, and Intel and AMD have different sockets.
If you wanted a Core 2 Quad (like mine) you would get a LGA 775 socket. If you wanted an i7, you would need it's socket.

ok i think these would go together nicely i think....

motherboard: ASUS M4N78-SE Motherboard (M4N78 SE) | Techbuy Australia

and the processor: AMD Athlon II X2 250 Dual Core (3.0GHz) - AM3, 2MB L2 (ADX250OCGQBOX) | Techbuy Australia

what do you think?
If you're going to buy a new system based on an AM3 CPU, you should buy a board that has native AM3 support, with DDR3 RAM, rather than DDR2. With the M4N78-SE, if you want to get faster RAM, you would need to junk the board and buy a new one to support DDR3.

Since this is a new build, you're better off going with a DDR3 based board, IMO.

EDIT: The M4A77TD you were looking at on the last page is a much better board, btw, and if you can afford it, I would buy a Phenom, rather than an Athlon II. Just me, but that's what I would do.

Yes you can. If you're just thinking about going with a dual core, have you looked at this one?

AMD Phenom II X2 550 Dual Core (3.1GHz) - AM3, 1MB L2 Cache, 6MB L3 Cache, 42nm, 80W - Boxed (HDX550WFGMBOX) | Techbuy Australia

I know it's a little bit more money, but the performance will be better than the Athlon II 250. It has a larger cache and that will give you a little bit more speed.
